SABAK BERNAM, May 3 — Selangor needs at least RM1 billion to enhance padi productivity, said state executive councillor for infrastructure and agriculture Dato' Izham Hashim.

SHAH ALAM, Nov 25 — Padi farmers in Selangor are encouraged to register for the Padi Crop Takaful Scheme (STTP) as a form of protection in case their crops are destroyed by disasters or plant diseases.
